Meet The Farmers
Hannah Noël, head of vegetable production on the farm, is a graduate of Smith College and a certified teacher who has always had her hands in the soil—having started her first garden in her sandbox as a little girl. Hannah operates the farm’s CSA. She also has a blog, The Organic Mother, where she writes about her famiy's organic lifestyle.
Eric Noël, aka the “Organic Mechanic,” has a passion for both farming and racecars. He grew up on the family farm and received his degree in automotive repair from Vermont Technical College. After working as a racecar mechanic in the IndyCar Series, Eric returned to the farm with plans to diversify and continue his parents’ land stewardship. He was trained in Holistic Management Planned Grazing by his local farm mentor and certified instructor, Abe Collins of Cimarron Farm in Swanton, Vermont. Eric practices Planned Grazing on the farm to ensure optimum pasture and herd health and productivity.
Eric and Hannah were married on the farm and home-birthed both of their children, Madeleine and Calvin.
